Operational Project Engineer
As an Operational Project Engineer at BMS Offshore, you are the link between engineering and execution. You prepare offshore operations down to the smallest detail and ensure that everything is in place for safe, efficient and high-quality execution. You work closely with project managers, vessel crew, subcontractors and suppliers to bring our projects to life at sea.
Responsibilities
- Translate project plans into method statements, risk assessments and clear execution plans;
- Prepare offshore deck layouts, equipment lists and mobilization procedures;
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vessel teams for operational readiness;
- Provide technical support during offshore campaigns and respond to operational challenges;
- Monitor progress ensures QHSE compliance and respond to operational challenges;
- Support project close-out with documentation, lessons learned and evaluations.
Must Have
- Bachelor or Master degree in engineering;
- A hands-on mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving;
- Experience with offshore operations or a strong interest to grow in the field;
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit;
- A structured way of working and attention to detail;
- Fluent in verbal and written English;
- Flexible and the ability to work in a high-stakes project invironment.
