Offshore Project Engineer
As Offshore Project Engineer, you are the technical pivot between planning and execution. You support the project team in translating engineering concepts into workable offshore operations while ensuring precision, safety and coordination every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Prepare offshore procedures, method statements and work packs;
- Collaborate with engineering, QHSE and vessel teams during preparation and execution;
- Support mobilisations and be part of offshore campaigns where needed;
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks and daily performance;
- Participate in interface meetings, document control and lessons learned;
- Organize and execute product inspections;
- Set-up supply chain of required parts and services, including spare part management;
- Set procurement process and source high quality supplier and service providers; and
- Budget control and progress reporting towards management.
Must Have
- Bachelor or Master degree in electro-mechanical, civil, offshore, bio and or marine engineering
- Min. of five years of relevant work experience within offshore and marine and services and or construction projects;
- Preferably several years of project management experience;
- Strong analytical and technical skills in fields of mechanics and electronics;
- Good communication and reporting skills;
- Fluent in verbal and written English;
- Willingness to travel offshore as required; and
- Pro-active and independent.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of subsea works;
- Familiarity with offshore standards.
