BMS Offshore is delighted to announce to have signed a partnership with SAFEWAY (Van Aalst Group). SAFEWAY is an expert in the design and production of offshore transfer equipment, combining forces with BMS Offshore as service provider in the offshore renewable market.
Operational Excellence
With the partnership in place, SAFEWAY continues to focus on its expertise developing and fabricating new motion compensated gangways whilst BMS Offshore takes up the operational management of the rental gangways actively deployed worldwide.
BMS Offshore will ensure safe and efficient operational management for the rental fleet of SAFEWAY, including (but not limited to):
- Operation and maintenance of rental units, to guarantee as little downtime as possible;
- Technical follow-up and support of the unit, including feedback to the new-build division of Safeway for development purposes;
- Spare parts management to execute interventions and ensuring that the systems are operating in good condition (including procurement and logistics);
- Personnel and interface management with clients to ensure qualified, trained, and well-capable operators for the ongoing projects; and
- QHSE support to highest Offshore standards.
Strategic Partnership
This partnership will allow SAFEWAY to strengthen its position as market leader in the offshore motion compensated gangways industry and will allow BMS Offshore to offer their operational and asset management services to support SAFEWAY in achieving its goals.
